Pure Origin: In Defence of the Prophet's Parents

This work is a comprehensive collection of works on the salvation of the parents of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It begins with an epistle by the 15th Century polymath Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, before moving to the works of two recent luminaries, Sayyid Muhammad ‘Alawi and Mufti Khan Qadiri, on the same subject. This is followed by an intensive analysis of the beliefs of Imam Abu Hanifa and Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari by the contemporary Hadith expert and Islamic scholar Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad. The book concludes with a poem in defence of Sayyida Amina by Habib ‘Abd al-Qadir Kharid رحمه الله (d. 2025).
